Do you offer a free trial or first meeting?
Yes! I offer a free 30-minute online meeting so we can get to know each other, talk about your goals, and for you to learn more about my teaching style. You can easily book your appointment further down via Calendly.
What levels of German do you teach?
I teach teenagers and adults at all levels – from complete beginners (A1) to advanced learners (C1/C2). I also offer tailored lessons for business professionals and workplace German. Additionally, I help students prepare for exams like Goethe-Zertifikat, Telc, and TestDaF.
Where do the lessons take place?
All lessons take place online. We will use a user-friendly platform like Google Meet or Zoom or Microsoft Teams – flexible and easy to join from anywhere.
What do I need to start learning German with you online?
For the online lessons, you will need a computer or tablet with a reliable internet connection, a webcam (so I can see you), and a microphone (so I can hear you).
When are you available for lessons?
My teaching hours are flexible! I offer lessons at various times, during the day and in the evening (CET/MEZ time) to try and accommodate different schedules. Once you contact me, we can discuss your availability and find a time that works for both of us.
How do payments and bookings work?
All lessons must be paid in advance, before the first session takes place. You can choose between individual lessons or discounted packages.
Payments are made securely via bank transfer or credit card (using a payment link e.g. via Stripe). Once your payment is received, you’ll get a confirmation email with all the details and the link for your lesson.
What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule a lesson?
I understand that things can come up. I have a flexible cancellation policy — I just ask that you let me know at least 24 hours in advance.
If you cancel or reschedule less than 24 hours before the lesson, the full fee will be charged. Thank you for your understanding!
To reschedule, simply reply to the confirmation email or send me a quick message, so that we can find an alternative time.
How long will it take me to become fluent in German?
Language learning is a personal journey, and the time it takes to reach fluency varies depending on your learning pace, dedication, and goals. We can discuss your objectives and create a realistic learning plan together.
